Dear Daniel,

Thank you for contacting PETA, for your generous support, and for participating in our action alerts.

We are thrilled that amendment 13 passed in Florida, it was a great victory for dogs. The amendment will shut down 11 Florida dog tracks and allow all those dogs to be released for adoption, joining 40 other states that have already banned this cruel practice.

We appreciate the time you took to share your activism in behalf of animals with us and we are grateful for your efforts. We love hearing about the ways in which people fight for animal rights. PETA depends on the support of compassionate people like you in our efforts to save animals’ lives. We owe our success to people who take action!

We suggest that you write to McDonald’s to say that you participated in a demonstration and tell the company why. Please also consider writing letters to newspapers and magazines to inform the public about the cruelty of McDonald’s. You can find our guide to letter-writing at http://www.PETA.org/action/activism-guide/letter-writing/.

Thanks again for writing and for everything that you do to help animals. Your actions make all the difference in the world to animals in need—please keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

Amy Ventura
